Erika Santiago

Toddler Teacher

Erika lives in Washington state, where she has built her life and career after growing up in California. She speaks fluent Spanish and English. Erika has worked in the child care industry for five years, caring for children ages 1–6.

Caring for and spending time with young children has always been something Erika truly enjoys. She is passionate about creating a safe, caring, and positive environment where children feel comfortable being themselves while exploring the world around them.

Becoming a mom has made Erika’s love for children even stronger. She especially enjoys watching children grow, learn, and discover new things each day. One of the most meaningful parts of working with young children is seeing the world through their eyes and watching their thoughts, personalities, and perspectives begin to develop. Erika feels grateful to be part of these important early years and to support children as they learn, grow, and become their own little people.

Erika considers herself trustworthy, caring, and dependable. Her dedication to creating safe, nurturing environments for children has also led her to provide child care services outside of preschool, where she has worked with multiple families and built strong, trusting relationships over the years.

She looks forward to creating wonderful connections with new children and families, just as she has with the families she has had the privilege of working with throughout her career.
