Gaelyn Stone

Teacher

Originally from Portland, Gaelyn spent the first nine years of their life there before moving to Saudi Arabia in 2012, an experience that gave them a unique global perspective. Having discovered their own neurodivergence at a young age, Gaelyn embraces it as a strength, using it as a valuable tool in their work with children. They are passionate about creating an environment where every child feels empowered to explore, imagine, and express themselves fully. Gaelyn believes that every child is a natural scientist and artist, and they find joy in nurturing that sense of wonder; encouraging each child to dream big and discover the world in their own way.

Gaelyn is currently pursuing a degree in Psychology and brings a deep passion for understanding how children learn and grow. With over 15 years of experience in both Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, Gaelyn now serves as both an Assistant Scoutmaster and an Assistant Cub Scoutmaster for the local troop. Their lifelong connection to scouting has shaped their leadership, creativity, and love for outdoor education.
