We could not be more excited to announce our partnership with the University of Washington's Friday Harbor Laboratories and introduce our Summer Enrichment Series!
This June, July, and August, our students will participate in a series of interactive touch tanks, hands-on labs, and engaging lessons led by some of the country’s leading marine biologists and researchers.
This is a truly unique chance for children to explore marine life up close, ask big questions, and develop a deeper connection to the natural world.

Community Vaccine Clinic
Free Community Vaccine Clinic at Hope Harbor Children's Center
Hope Harbor Children's Center is partnering with the San Juan County Health Department to host a free community vaccination clinic for children and youth under 19 years of age.
Nurses from San Juan County Health will be on site at Hope Harbor Children's Center providing vaccines at no cost.
Clinic Schedule
5:00–5:30 PM: During our regular operating hours, enrolled children may receive vaccinations without a parent present, provided a signed consent-to-treat form has been completed in advance.
Beginning at 5:30 PM: The clinic will open to all children and youth under 19 who need vaccinations.
Families can feel confident that registration information is kept private. Information is not shared with the federal government beyond the child's name and date of birth, which are required for vaccine administration and recordkeeping.
A Spanish-speaking nurse will be available to answer questions and assist families in their home language.

Art Gala
You’re invited to Hope Harbor’s Children’s Art Gala! Join us Thursday, from 6:00–7:30, at Medio Cafe in Friday Harbor Suites for an evening celebrating the creativity and growth of our students.
Enjoy light bites and refreshments as you explore your child’s masterpiece and connect with our incredible community of educators, students, and families!
I look forward to honoring our students’ creations in an environment filled with the respect and awe they truly deserve, while gathering with those they love the most!

That is because we want to hear from you! If you have questions about our program, curriculum, philosophies, or are wondering what your children are up to all day, this is your place to drop in anonymous questions, comments, or feedback. We will open them up for discussion at our December family meeting.

During your conference, we’ll discuss your child’s growth, socially, emotionally, academically, and physically. Together, we’ll set goals for continued learning and development, whether that means continuing early childhood education or preparing for a smooth transition into kindergarten!

Family Meeting
Join us for our first family meeting featuring Kristen Rezabek, a registered nutritionist partnered with ECEAP and PeaceHealth Peace Island Medical Center. Kristen will be sharing practical tips and expert advice on handling picky eating, creating balanced and nutritious meals, and preparing preschool-friendly foods your child will love. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, gain helpful strategies, and connect with other families. We look forward to seeing you there!
ECEAP Hearing and Vision Screenings
County nurses will be visiting Hope Harbor Children’s Center at St. David’s to provide free hearing and vision screenings for our ECEAP families.
