You may have spotted a jar at our check-in station…

That is because we want to hear from you! If you have questions about our program, curriculum, philosophies, or are wondering what your children are up to all day, this is your place to drop in anonymous questions, comments, or feedback. We will open them up for discussion at our December family meeting.

Our meeting will take place downstairs at St. David’s Episcopal Church on Tuesday, the 16th, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Free childcare will be available during the meeting at Hope Harbor Children's Center.

This week, we’re hosting our triannual ECEAP required Family–Teacher Conferences. While these meetings are required for all ECEAP families, we warmly invite any enrolled families to participate.

During your conference, we’ll discuss your child’s growth, socially, emotionally, academically, and physically. Together, we’ll set goals for continued learning and development, whether that means continuing early childhood education or preparing for a smooth transition into kindergarten!

Join us for our first family meeting featuring Kristen Rezabek, a registered nutritionist partnered with ECEAP and PeaceHealth Peace Island Medical Center. Kristen will be sharing practical tips and expert advice on handling picky eating, creating balanced and nutritious meals, and preparing preschool-friendly foods your child will love. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, gain helpful strategies, and connect with other families. We look forward to seeing you there!

Child Find is a free screening opportunity for families who may have concerns about their child's adaptive, cognitive, communication, motor, or social/emotional development. This screening is by appointment only. At SJISD's Early Learning Center (former Head Start) 97 Grover St, Friday Harbor, WA, 98250.
