Bee Henry
Lead Teacher
Bee was introduced to early childhood education through the eyes of her late, beloved grandma, a compassionate and energetic caregiver. Coming up on her 10th year in education, Bee prides herself on cultivating a happy, safe, and healthy learning environment where young minds can grow.
Bee is passionate about exploration, discovery, and sharing those curiosities with children through hands-on learning, both in the classroom and in nature. From her years of experience working with a 1-to 2-year-old age group, Bee has witnessed children being underestimated in their smarts and capabilities. Bee believes that when a child is given a safe space to express themselves and explore their independence, they will radiate in confidence and be set up for success.
In Bee's personal life, she is passionate about art, creativity, and dance. With her experience as a dance instructor and her use of downtime to create in many different media, she enjoys bringing her outside passions into the classroom, whether it's by doing large-motor movements during circle time or making process art with pinecones and leaves.
Bee's compassion and enthusiasm for community and early childhood education have had a lasting impact on children and their families, while cultivating beautiful, trusting relationships throughout her career.
